rises coming into effect from December 1, 2024.
Mount Albert Grammar School is a school with a long history and tradition. A part of that history and tradition is that MAGS is a uniform school. There is a requirement that all students wear their uniform with pride, and this means wearing the uniform correctly at all times. Students are expected to maintain high standards of personal presentation.
The School requires the correct uniform to be worn, in the correct manner, when students are at school, travelling to and from school
and while attending school functions away from the school. On rare occasions, a student may need to temporarily or permanently wear a non-uniform item (e.g. different shoes for medical reasons). To do this, they will need to obtain a Uniform Pass from their Dean or Deputy Principal and carry it with them.
Please note that MAGS students are permitted to wear sandals year-round if they choose, and many do.
