MAGS students continued to prove how tough they are by once again claiming a number of 1st, 2nd and 3rd placings at the annual Tough Guy Tough Gal Challenge, this year held at a Helensville farm on 29-30 June.
Year 11 Outdoor Education and Year 12 Performance PE students raced a 6km circuit that involved clambering through deep mud, up steep hills, under barbed wire and through cables and tunnels.
James Dennett came 1st in the Intermediate Boys division with Will Newton 2nd, Joshua Pracey and Paul Watene came 1st and 2nd in the Junior Boys division, and Lili Tse and Isabel Morley came 2nd and 3rd in the Junior Girls division.
