A tight game all the way through in miserable conditions played at Colin Maiden Park. A half time score of 12 – 7 to MAGS led to a nail biting last 10 minutes after AGGS scored and converted another try. With a few minutes to go MAGS held off another onslaught to finish Auckland Champions for 2023 with a final score of 15 – 14.
