Market Days for Year 10 Business students were held on Thursday and Friday, 25 and 26 May.
Weeks of preparation included learning essential skills of marketing, product sourcing and financial reporting. The students’ half year of work culminated in a busy 40 minutes of hard selling over lunchtime to willing students and staff.
A mixture of hot foods and cold sweets proved popular and rewarded the students for their innovation and risk taking.
New Head of Commerce, Mr Andrew Maunder, was impressed by the students’ awareness of their target market.
“The organisation of the students was exceptional, and impressive sales can only encourage further entrepreneurial effort,” said Mr Maunder.
