A promising 5 – 0 lead to MAGS in the first half was victim to two quick tries to St Peter’s just before halftime.
The final score was 19 – 13 to St Peter’s College.
A 3 – 0 score line to the MAG Slavia team who played the MAGS Hearts team at Avondale Race Course belied the intensity of the competition.
Two goals in 5 minutes was the start of the game at Western Springs in the 14A2 grade championship. Then an added extra all in the first half.
A penalty to Western Springs saw them score a goal towards the end of the second half.
Full time score: 3 – 1.

On a waterlogged field MAGS Premier Lacrosse team played St Mary’s College having already beaten St Cuthbert’s College 3 – 1.
It proved a challenge for all digging the ball out of the turf.
Final score 5 – 0 to MAGS.
The AKSS tournament was played at Avondale Racecourse on a miserable overcast day. The team were well beaten by the defending champions Epsom A in the first game . They played Westlake Girls in their second game which was abandoned due to lightning and thunder.
In a close fought game at Mount Roskill Grammar School on a very cold windy night neither team prevailed in the final with the score drawn at 1 – 1.This means this is the second year they have the U15 Championship albeit shared this year.
