Nerida Elson, Reese Jacques and Georgia Houston made the U-18 Auckland team following the weekend’s New Zealand Secondary School Girls Lacrosse Championships at Whangaparaoa College.
A narrow loss to Mt Roskill Grammar on Saturday meant MAGS’ Girls Lacrosse team missed the playoffs on Sunday, eventually finishing fifth. They won their last two games against Westlake Girls 9-3 and Hillcrest High 11-4. Nerida Elson and Georgia Houston were voted MVP in their games by the refs.
