MAGS played James Cook High School in the third of their pool games out at Pulman Park, winning all consecutive games.
James Cook High scored a try and converted in the first half to go ahead 6 – 4 and from there in it was all MAGS finishing the game 22 – 6.
Whangarei Boys High School honoured the help that MAGS had given them this week with a haka during half time.
