Held at the Aquatic Centre on the grounds. There were some very competitive races among the different age levels.
Sylvia Brunt and Luke Clements (pictured above) were name Victrix Ludorum and Victor Ludorum respectively in the 2021 Sports Awards.
Undefeated in pool play, MAGS made it to the final of the One Day Tournament at Avondale Racecourse against Epsom Girls Grammar but lost that match 1-8.
The only MAGS team to make it out of pool play, through the quarter, semi’s and into the final against St Dominic’s College which unfortunately they lost.
For the first time MAGS failed to make it out of pool play, beaten by Auckland Girls Grammar by 1 point but also St Peters Cambridge.
MAGS traditionally field a Yr 9, 10 and Premier team in this competition held annually at the Auckland Netball Centre. Unfortunately Yr 9 did not progress from pool play.
An arm-wrestle of a match played on the Sir BG Williams Field, with MAGS eventually winning 17-11.
Played out at Pakuranga College the Football Girls held a 3 – 2 lead at half time finishing the game at 5 goals to 2.
A see-sawing game that saw MAGS lead at half-time 13 – 8. The score changed regularly in the second half with MAGS edging ahead with a penalty by 1 point in the final minutes of the game, winning the Eddie Wilson trophy.
