A comprehensive win played out on the B G Williams field at MAGS with the girls’ winning 83 – 0.
Played at Mount Albert Grammar against a Mangere College 1XV team the final score was 36 – 17 to Mangere College.
MAGS played Westlake Boys High School at Mount Albert Grammar School and won convincingly 4 – 0.
James Dougal won a Silver medal and Michaela Cox a Bronze at the College Sport Gymsport Championships held in Papakura.
They were part of a six-strong MAGS team of four girls and two boys, with three competing in Tumbling and three in Trampolining.
Mount Albert Grammar School played Rangitoto College at Rangitoto and scored a goal in each half. Unfortunately, Rangitoto scored two in each half, leaving the final score at 2 – 4.
The Premier Boys won a physically challenging game against St Peters College 71 – 47.
Played out at Liston College MAGS were ahead 22 – 0 at half time finishing the game at 58 – 7.
St Peters were the first to score followed by MAGS in the hard fought game leaving the score at 1 – 1 at half time.
Two goals to MAGS in the second half left the final score 3 – 1.
Played at Westlake Boys in a typical winter display of weather MAGS dominated Westlake 4 – 1 making it through to the next round of the Knock Out Cup.
