

The first game as a team for this group from MAGS which was played at May Rd against Mount Roskill Grammar School. They had some members who had played before but for most of them it was their first game. They won 10 -5 after matching innings for innings.
MAGS played St Kents at MAGS – the first time a junior girls team has played for a number of years.

A new game to secondary schools has emerged in a competition in Auckland. A game of Ki o Rahi played at Cornwall Park. A MAGS senior mixed team competed together with various other schools.
A plucky team otherwise known as Junior A during the winter season was playing in the NZSS Development tournament over predominately older teams out at Fred Taylor Park in Whenuapai. The team drew their first match otherwise winning the next three pool games to make the top 6.

The tournament was held this year at the Howick-Pakuranga Netball Centre. MAGS played Trident in their third game of pool play winning comfortably.
In foul weather with strong wind and rain the tournament was played at Avondale Race Course. MAGS won against Diocesan, Westlake, Epsom B only losing to Epsom A in the pool play. Thus making it to the finals.
