MAGS entered a Junior Girls and Boys team in the competition which was played down at Cox’s Bay. Both teams won all their pool games and made the semi-finals. The Girls lost to St Kentigern College and the Boys’ to Kelston Boys High School.

Tony Sail, the Director of Cricket and the first eleven coach for the last 20 years went out on a high, winning the Marriot Cup.
The Softball Juniors won the One Day Tournament played out at Prince Edward Park in Papakura.
MAGS batted first in the game played out on the St Kentigern pitch.
The first game as a team for this group from MAGS which was played at May Rd against Mount Roskill Grammar School. They had some members who had played before but for most of them it was their first game. They won 10 -5 after matching innings for innings.
