MAGS Senior Girls played Howick College in the Central Zone Touch semi-finals at Cornwall Park.
With the score level at 4 – 4 in the first game they then played them a second time in the finals for 3/4th place.
The top three in each region go through to the North Island Regional competition
MAGS has two athletes that take part in Archery, increasingly popular after the Hungergames.
This takes place at the Archery Club situated in Cornwall Park.
MAGS played both Kings College and Auckland Grammar School at Cornwall Park.
MAGS played Kings College at Mount Albert Grammar School.
Kings made 205 from their 50 overs leaving MAGS 206 to win.
The annual Athletics day was held out at Mt Smart. Over 400 athletes took part in both the track and field events.
Of note the Senior Boys 100m record of 20 years was broken with a time under 11 seconds.
The annual swimming sports took place at the Aquatic Centre.
Mags Premier Girls team played Rangitoto College at the Diocesan Aquatic Centre and lost 0 – 12.
In the first game of the New Zealand Secondary Schools Rugby League competition Mount Albert Grammar School played St Thomas of Canterbury out at Bruce Pulman Park in Papakura.
The first half saw the score at 4 – 18 with the advantage to St Thomas.
MAGS rallied in the second half finishing 8 points behind.
Final Score: 28 – 8.
In the first game of their North Island Secondary Schools Tournament Mount Albert Grammar School premier netball team played Morrinsville College.

The Boys Under 15 Regional Competition is being held out at the Bruce Pulman Centre in Papakura.
With a win from this morning under their belt MAGS took on HBHS in their second game:
