The Girls team won all their games until playing Auckland Girls Grammar School in the semi-final which they lost narrowly.
The Senior Boys won all their games in the tournament out at Waitakere Rugby Club and qualified as one of the top four for the Condor 7’s tournament.
Year 9, 10 and the Premier team all played in the Combined Points tournament at the Netball Centre in Morrin Rd. The Premiers won all of their pool matches 16 – 8, 28 – 5, 13 -12, and 16 – 10 making it through to the quarter-final where they were beaten 12 – 10 by St Kentigern College.

Year 10 played a number of different teams, Glendowie College, Cambridge Junior Premier, Sancta Maria College, Avondale Junior and Whangarei Girls.
A passionately fought game at Westlake with a home audience. A goal each, a red
card each and extra time with no goals scored.
It came down to a penalty shoot out when Westlake scored 1 more.
A game played out at Aorere College saw MAGS win 33 – 24.
In awful winter weather the game between MAGS and St Pauls was played with all the scoring in the first half. MAGS emerged the victor 18 – 6.
In a closely contested game of 2 20 minute halves St Pauls edged out Mount Albert Grammar School by 1 goal, 30 – 29.
The Joseph Lyons Cup Tournament was held at the St Cuthberts’ College pool in the second week of the holidays. In their first game the Boys team played Mount Maunganui College who eventually won 10 – 8 in a close fought game.
