On Tuesday Year 9s had their first day at school and the school to themselves, and were welcomed with a powhiri in the hall. Headmaster Patrick Drumm welcomed the students, saying there were exciting times ahead especially as they will graduate as Year 13 students at the end of 2022 – MAGS’ centennial year. He also outlined The MAGS Way to the new entrants before they were assigned to their form classes and teachers. Year 13 Peer Support Leaders spent the rest of the day helping students to get to know the layout of the school and what was expected of students.
