Eight Gold medals, 11 Silver and 10 Bronze made for a dominant performance by the MAGS Swim team at the AKSS Individual Championships, held on Sunday, August 6, at West Wave.
Brearna Crawford bagged four Golds in the 100m Butterfly, Breaststroke, Freestyle and Individual Medley (IM). Vasilina Shipilova won two Gold in the 100m Breaststroke and IM, Alida Seits won the 50m Butterfly, and Michael Chapman won the 50m Freestyle.
Vasilina, Alida, Sinead Kelly, Joseph Nathan and Flynn Oberdries and Tony Tuatagaloa claimed Silver medals, while Bronze was won by Alida, Sinead, Tony, Eva Williams, Michael Chapman, Lucy Woodall and James Dennett.
A number of the medal winners are also members of the MAGS Aquatic Academy, led by former Olympic swimmer Mr Paul Kent.
